Lisa,
Such an interesting and important book。
Cecilia Ali,
Very enjoyable book which I was drawn to after seeing the recent film The Lost King 。 I had watched the Channel 4 documentary at the time of the discovery of Richard III。 It is a mix of the story of the search and discovery of Richard along with chapters on the history 。 You do need to concentrate on the history chapters as there are so many different titles it can be confusing。 My enduring feelings are how amazing Philippa's discovery was 。 I am now looking forward to going to the visitors cent Very enjoyable book which I was drawn to after seeing the recent film The Lost King 。 I had watched the Channel 4 documentary at the time of the discovery of Richard III。 It is a mix of the story of the search and discovery of Richard along with chapters on the history 。 You do need to concentrate on the history chapters as there are so many different titles it can be confusing。 My enduring feelings are how amazing Philippa's discovery was 。 I am now looking forward to going to the visitors centre 。 。。。more
Hilay Hopkins,
This was quite an interesting book but it certainly wasn’t an “up all night thriller”。 Spoiler…… he dies in the end! It is obviously presenting a very one sided view of Richard in an effort to rehabilitate his reputation。 Having said that, I did enjoy it until about 7/8 of the way through when it became a bit boring。 I didn’t really want to know about other royal reburials tbh。 I gave up with about 5% to go!
Adeptus Fringilla,
I was looking forward to reading this book after watching the recent movie in the cinema, hoping to read more about the history of Richard III。There is a good mix of history with stories about the dig, and I wasn't disappointed。 I was looking forward to reading this book after watching the recent movie in the cinema, hoping to read more about the history of Richard III。There is a good mix of history with stories about the dig, and I wasn't disappointed。 。。。more

Will Jensen,
A great read。 Have been interested In the search for Richard iii since seeing the documentary ‘The King in the Car Park’ many years ago。 After visiting the site myself through the visitors centre and seeing the recent film I was given this book as a present。 I just couldn’t put it down! I loved the way it was put together that toldBoth the story of the search but also of who Richard was。 Pick up this book and read it! You will not be disappointed。
Anna,
Fascinating account of the finding of the remains of Richard iii under a car park in Leicester。
